Dr. Roy is currently completing the second year of his cardiovascular fellowship and is the chief cardiology fellow at the University of Iowa. After this, he will be pursuing Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa. He earned his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College, India, following which he served in Indian Army as a medical officer for 7 yrs. Thereafter, he moved to the United States and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City before moving to Iowa City. His current research interests include Takotsubo cardiomyopathy and big data analysis. Dr. Roy is board certified in Internal Medicine.
